The City of Red Deer has recently partnered with the carpool.ca (National Organization for carpool services) Deer to establish a regional carpool program.  Through the use of www.carpool.ca, commuters are able to create a commuter profile and search for potential carpool partners.  User access to the site is free, easy to use and secure.  The www.carpool.ca program is also available in Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, Fort McMurray and a number of other Alberta communities.  Currently, there are approximately 6,000 Alberta registrants. The City’s partnership with Carpool.ca includes carpool matching through www.carpool.ca as well as promotional support, including employer outreach.
