Agri-Trade, a partnership project between the Red Deer Chamber of Commerce and Westerner Exposition Association is pleased to announce Dianne Smirl as the new Event Manager for Agri-Trade.

Ms. Smirl will be in working with Patrick Kennedy, Event Manager of Agri-Trade for the 2012 and 2013 show transitioning responsibilities and continuing the production of Western Canada’s pre-eminent agricultural equipment exposition. Mr. Kennedy added “I am enthused by the direction the Agri-Trade partnership is providing from the appointment of Dianne Smirl.  I look forward to spending the next 2 shows working in conjunction with her.”

With over 20 years of event and tradeshow experience, Ms. Smirl has worked throughout North America, Europe and South America producing events and helping organizations deliver the best return on investment for their event dollars.  Before joining Agri-Trade, Ms Smirl worked with many National companies such as Canadian Tire, The Portables, Deloitte and Shimano as well as many industry shows such as SEMA, ITTSEC, COMDEX and various Outdoor and Home/Garden shows throughout Canada.
